In some of Pakistan’s most underprivileged areas, school buildings and educational facilities exist, but they’re no longer operational. Derelict and in disrepair, they aren’t fit to serve the communities they’re meant to.
In collaboration with the Government of Punjab, Akhuwat has committed to restoring over 4,000 non-functioning schools. Through our Public School Support Programme, we’ve adopted over 350 primary schools, in six districts of Punjab. We fund, maintain and manage these schools, providing quality education to thousands of children from poor communities.
By giving Sadaqah towards our Public School Support Programme, this Ramadan, you’ll be helping us adopt more schools in need of aid and development so that more children can go to school.
Established in 2015, Akhuwat Residential College is for academically promising students, from low-income households, who cannot continue their education without financial support. We have separate colleges for young men and women, which are home to students selected on merit from all corners of Pakistan. At Akhuwat College, we provide students with quality higher education, while helping them to cultivate their unique talents. There are no fees; board and lodge are free; and all uniforms, textbooks and educational material are provided.
In partnership with the Faisalabad Institute of Research, Science and Technology (FIRST), we’ve built Akhuwat-FIRST with a special focus on biotechnology.
Every one of our students has his/her own story of overcoming hardship to attain a basic education. This Ramadan, can you help a worthy student from a family who cannot afford to educate him? By donating to Akhuwat College, you’ll be giving a young person the opportunity to pursue their studies.
Akhuwat College for Women is based on the firm belief that no nation can progress without investing in the education of women. Located in Chakwal, the Akhuwat College for Women is a residential campus, housing women from all over the country.
Young women receive merit-based admissions with reserved seats from different provinces and administrative regions of Pakistan. By giving them a safe space to find the support and encouragement they need to take risks, push boundaries and succeed in their personal and professional lives, women are trained to become the leaders of tomorrow.
At Akhuwat we believe that if you Educate a Woman, you Educate a Nation! This Ramadan, help us educate a nation by empowering
our young women.
Education is every person’s fundamental right. We believe that giving people access to quality education doesn’t just benefit individuals, it helps lift communities out of poverty.
Currently under construction, Akhuwat University will be Pakistan’s first fee-free residential university, where students will pay fees based on their means. Through scholarships and interest-free loans, we’ll ensure every eligible student gets equal access to quality education irrespective of their financial status. Akhuwat University will be one of our biggest investments in the effort to eradicate poverty and ensure sustainable development in Pakistan.
By donating to Akhuwat University, this Ramadan, you’ll help lift communities out of poverty, one student at a time.
The tourism and hospitality sector in Pakistan has the potential to employ thousands over the next few years. To cater to the industry’s growing need for an educated, skilled workforce, we’re building the Akhuwat Mushahida School of Hospitality and Tourism, as part of Akhuwat University.
This project will allow hundreds of underprivileged students an opportunity to be trained in a rapidly growing economic sector. We’re currently working with some of the best minds in the industry to develop a quality curriculum.
By donating your Sadaqah and Zakat this Ramadan to the Akhuwat Mushahida School, you’ll be helping underprivileged students receive specialist training and education with a clear career path.
